Federal Court Rules Against Wine Master Cellars Claimed Patent Infringement
IRVINE, Calif. Aug 28, 2012 – Vinotemp International, a recognized leader in the wine storage and refrigeration industry for 25 years, today announced that the United States District Court for the Central District of California has granted partial summary judgment in its favor in a patent infringement lawsuit. Chief Judge Audrey B. Collins issued a detailed order explaining why Vinotemp did not infringe U.S. Patent No. 6,991,117 which is owned by Wine Master Cellars. Judge Collins' order stated that all of Wine Master's arguments supporting its claim of patent infringement are "meritless."
